The OBR monograph “Open Building Research” published by Birkhauser presents a journey through some of the most important works developed by the office during more than twenty years of practice.
Through a selection of 24 international projects – described by texts, plans, drawings and photographs – the book presents OBR’s work as a communal endeavor in dialogue with different disciplines.
The publication engaged Roni Horn, Michel Desvigne, Giovanna Borasi, and Georges Amar in transdisciplinary dialogues that extend beyond architecture itself, questioning its autonomy and offering new perspectives on its potential and relevance.
